We are making a quick trip from our home in Sarasota Florida to Mitchell, South Dakota. We don’t usually stop for 1 night at a campground because set up and take down are time consuming. However, we had to fit this trip between a doctor’s appointment and a very important day. We are meeting friends in Mitchell. We met them on our caravan trip out west and we have stayed good friends. We are looking forward to seeing them again. From Mitchell we are all headed to Glacier National Park. We will all spend 10 days together. We have some adventures already planned for Glacier like boating, hiking and Going to the Sun Road.

From Glacier, the rest of the caravan will be headed to Washington and Oregon. Since Pam and I just came back from visiting the wineries of Willamette and Seattle, we will say our goodbyes to the group and head north to the Canadian Rockies. Join us in Banff, Calgary and Jasper. Lots of adventures are planned like the Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump, the Jasper Sky tram and the Canadian Ice Fields. You won’t want to miss them.
From the Canadian Rockies we will slowly travel to Minnesota and then south back to Florida. We have some cool stops along the way. There are so many stops on this trip; 72 planned stops and 8000 total miles. Did I mention earlier that the navigator plans the trip? Pam is driving but she’s really along for the ride. Every day is surprise for her. I think the Sky Tram may be more than she bargained for. The description is “Soar above the park as you gently climb 7400 feet. ” I don’t think she’s thrilled about soaring or climbing so let’s keep this between us for now. It’ll be fun…really.
